Day 1: Arrive Alice Springs

On arrival at Alice Springs you will be transferred to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure.

Accommodation: Alice Springs, 2 nights - choice of standard, superior or first class hotel.

Day 2: Alice Springs

Enjoy a morning tour of Alice Springs, visiting the Telegraph Station, Anzac Hill and the Flying Doctor Service.

Day 3: Alice Springs - Uluru (Ayers Rock)

Travel through the West MacDonnell and James Ranges. Stop at a camel farm for a camel ride (own expense) and later stop to view majestic Atila (Mt. Conner), before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. Travel to Kata Tjuṯa (the Olgas). Walk between the domes in Walpa Gorge, before travelling to the Uluṟu sunset viewing area. Watch the sun set and the changing colours of Uluṟu while enjoying complimentary wine.

Day 4: Uluru (Ayers Rock)

Rise early to watch the first rays of the sun set the Red Centre alight. Make your way to the viewing platform to see many kilometres into the distance, providing an ideal photo opportunity. After sunrise join your Driver Guide for a drive around the base of Uluṟu. Continue to the Kuniya Walk where you will be escorted to the Mutiṯjulu Waterhole. This waterhole is a key source of water for the Aboriginal people in the area and has been in use for many thousands of years. See Aboriginal rock art and hear about the Aboriginal and European history of the area. Visit the Uluṟu – Tjuṯa Tjuta Cultural Centre. It houses an amazing collection of original paintings and punu (woodwork) that provide an insight into the unique and spiritual culture of the Aṉangu people, the traditional custodians of Uluṟu. In the afternoon you will be transferred to Ayers Rock Airport (flights to depart after 12.45pm)
