The action packed first day includes a visit to Calmsley Hill, a working farm involved in animal rehabilitation surrounded by fabulous bushland. You will arrive early to get up close to a range of native animals including Kangaroos and Koalas while enjoying a light morning tea. It is then on to the Blue Mountains National Park with a stop at Eaglehawk Lookout for spectacular views of the cascading waterfalls and famous Three Sisters rock formation.

After a morning at leisure and lunch, the second day is spent visiting Govetts Leap with views of the 180 metre high Bridal Veil Falls and surrounding Grose Valley. On your return to Sydney take in the breathtaking views at the Mt Wilson and Blue Mountains Botanical Gardens over a glass of sparkling wine.

Day 1:

The Blue Mountains National Park is one of seven national parks that make up the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. This wonderland of sandstone outcrops, deep ravines and hazy blue eucalypt forests boasts luxury retreats and the world's steepest railway. Travel with your guide off the beaten track to visit remote lookout locations and discuss the history, flora and fauna of this magnificent region. The action packed first day includes a visit to Calmsley Hill, a working farm involved in animal rehabilitation surrounded by fabulous bushland. You will arrive early to get up close to a range of native animals including Kangaroos and Koalas while enjoying a light morning tea. Then commence the drive to the Blue Mountains, travelling through the picturesque village of Wentworth Falls, home to a good collection of Victorian and other historic buildings and onto the Wentworth Falls Lookout for spectacular views over the Jamison Valley and the magnificent waterfall for which it is named. Continuing on, arrive at Eaglehawk Lookout, a remote point away from the crowds for views of the famous Three Sisters.

Day 2:

Start your day with breakfast, then enjoy the morning at leisure. Early afternoon you will head to the village of Blackheath and your lunch venue. Here in this relaxed, friendly club enjoy a 2 course lunch at the Hydro Majestic Hotel. Following lunch, the afternoon is spent visiting a selection of lookouts. Visit Govetts Leap, one of the most famous lookouts in Australia. Enjoy the sweeping views down the valley to the Grose Wilderness. The last stop is at the Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens where there's time for a short inspection of the flora including the ancient Wollemi Pine. From here we commence our return to Sydney.
